Job Seeker's Frequently Asked Questions

1. How much does it cost to register?

All services for Job Seekers are FREE.

2. How do I register for SportJobs?

Go to 'Register as a Job Seeker' in the Job Seekers menu bar at the top of the page and complete the required form. Registration should take less than 2 minutes.

3. What if I have forgotten my password?

Click the 'Forgot Password' link in the login box. Then enter your email address, and your password will be sent to you.

4. How do I search for jobs?

Use the 'Search' or 'Advanced Search' tool to find your perfect job.

5. How do I save a job for later viewing?

Firstly, you will need to register or login to your Job Seeker account. Secondly, find the job(s) you are looking for using the job search tool. Finally, tick which jobs you wish to review at a later date and click the 'Save Selected' jobs button.

6. How do I view my saved jobs?

To view your saved jobs, login to your Job Seeker account and click the 'Saved Adverts' tab.

7. How do I set up job alerts?

Firstly, you will need to register or login to your Job Seeker account. Click the 'Job Alerts' tab and create your specific job alert(s). The job alerts will be sent to the email address listed on your 'My Profile' page.

8. How do I apply for Jobs?

There are two options:

1. Simply click the 'Apply Now' button in the particular job and enter your details. Remember to upload your resume with your application.
2. Simply click the 'Apply Now' button in the particular job. If you login to your Job Seeker account from this page, your details will be automatically filled and you can select a pre-existing resume.

9. Can I save my job application?

Yes, you can save your job application for viewing, editing and submitting at a later date. After clicking 'Apply Now' for the particular job that interests you, simply go to the 'Save Application' button. You will need to Register or Login to your personal Job Seeker account to complete the process. You can view all your saved job applications in the 'Applications' tab.

10. Can I view my previous job applications?

Yes, you can view all your previous job applications in the 'Applications' area within your personal Job Seeker account.

11. Can I create or upload my own resume(s) to make applying for jobs even easier?

Yes. Register or Login to your Job Seeker account, then click the 'Resume' tab. Follow the steps to either upload your own CV or use SportJobs 'Create Online Resume'. All your current resumes will be listed in this area. You will be able to choose any of your uploaded CV's when applying for job.

12. How do I add my CV to the SportJobs Resume Database?

Simply choose the 'Yes' option when uploading your CV in your Job Seeker account. You must agree to the Terms and Conditions before your CV will be added to the SportJobs Resume Database. Once your CV is added, employers can headhunt you directly by browsing your CV.
